Computer is a collection of several components working together. Some of the components are essential others add more performance. Adding extra parts expands the variety of work with Computer.
Computer is made up of the following parts.

2. Peripherals
Software:
Software is the program that is run on the hardware. It is classified into Application software and System software.
1. System software
System software is the set of programs, that are used to control and co-ordinates the entire computer system.
Ex., MS-DOS, MS-Windows etc.,
2. Application software
Application software is the set of programs that are used to perform particular work.
Ex., Accounting Software, Banking software etc.,
